Chalk Barn

Chalk Barn is a contemporary wedding and events venue near Rushall in the Pewsey Vale, Wiltshire, on the 5,000-acre Rushall Organics Estate. The barn has floor-to-ceiling windows, a vaulted ceiling and countryside views, with an outdoor ceremony area and lawn. It seats up to 150 guests and is licensed for indoor and outdoor ceremonies.

Hire is exclusive use, and the day before the wedding is included in every booking as standard, so couples can set up and get ready without a rush. Couples can bring their own suppliers or use the venue's recommended list, with in-house catering by Kalm Kitchen, a licensed bar and a private tasting. Fireworks, sparklers and the evening fire pit are all allowed.

Chalk Barn is owned by the Wookey family, who have farmed the estate for four generations, and Joseph and Isabella lead it today. Newlyweds can stay in The Hide, a lodge overlooking the lake, and there is Brambledown, a cottage for up to 10 guests, plus glamping tents from April to October.
