Gravetye Manor is a historic country house hotel in West Hoathly, West Sussex, set in the grounds of the famous gardens created by William Robinson. The manor was built around 400 years ago, and the team has been hosting special events there for more than 60 years.
Couples can hire the manor exclusively, with the hotel and gardens for up to seventy guests for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, and a further twenty for the evening reception. The ceremony takes place in the oak-panelled main sitting room, with views over the flower garden and meadow, and the contemporary glass-fronted dining room seats up to seventy. A dedicated wedding coordinator helps plan the day.
Exclusive hire includes all seventeen bedrooms, so family and friends can stay together in the Sussex countryside and have breakfast the next morning. Drinks and photographs happen in the gardens, or in the lounge areas during winter.
