The Chester House Estate

The Chester House Estate is a heritage estate near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, with a grade II* listed 17th century farmhouse overlooking the River Nene. It hosts weddings alongside its visitor attraction, archive and learning programmes.

The main wedding space is the 17th century Threshing Barn, built of Northampton sandstone and lit with fairy lights. It is licensed and has a built-in bar and a fully functioning kitchen, and it opens onto a courtyard with outdoor seating. Catering options include a pizza wagon and barbecue.

For larger parties there is a Grand Marquee that can host up to 200 people, with an optional dance floor and bar and access to the Tennis Lawn. Accommodation is available for wedding parties, and the site has a wedding brochure, gallery and enquiry form.
