Hawthbush Farm

Hawthbush Farm is a 140-acre organic working farm at Gun Hill, near Heathfield in East Sussex, with ancient wildflower meadows and woodland. Since 2009 the team have looked after the meadows and woodland, and the farm is also home to the Gun Brewery and its tap room.

Weddings are held in The Grain Store, a converted barn that seats up to 150 for dinner and welcomes up to 200 in the evening. It connects to a stretch tent, with a BBQ barn and firepit just beyond. Ceremonies take place in a licensed woodland clearing on the farm, and weddings are welcome throughout the year, including midweek and out of season.

Couples get time to set up the day before and exclusive use of the venue on the wedding day until midnight. Converted farm cottages and a private glamping site sleep up to 40 guests, and the tap room can be booked for Friday night drinks or Sunday lunch. There is a drinks package with corkage options, and a recommended house caterer.
