Minstrel Court

Minstrel Court is a lakeside wedding and events venue on the Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire border, between Royston and Cambridge. It sits in six acres of gardens and lakes and hosts one wedding at a time, so the whole estate is yours for the day.

The spaces include a listed Tudor-style barn for up to 110 guests, the Starlit Hall, a Garden Marquee seating up to 200, a Lake Pavilion, a bar, a bridal salon and lakeside and marquee lawns. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies in the Lake Pavilion, on the lawns, in the Starlit Hall and in the Tudor Barn. Couples can bring their own caterer or use the venue's.

Overnight stays are on site, with Stables rooms and a Manor House that sleeps nineteen. Packages range from Tudor Barn hire to exclusive use of the estate with accommodation, and a 1,500 pound payment secures a date. From 2026 the venue is run by Jenmor Hospitality Ltd, a family business.
