The Roseate Reading is a townhouse hotel in the centre of Reading, set in a listed building that was completed in 1911 as the Shire Hall for Berkshire County Council. It offers small, intimate weddings, with a dedicated wedding planner and a team that tailors each day to the couple.
Ceremonies and wedding breakfasts take place in the Eden Room, which seats up to 60 guests and has hand-painted flowers on its walls, in the original council chamber, or in the Library, with large windows over Forbury Square. The Cellar suits a ceremony or dinner for up to 14. Wedding packages are based on a minimum of 15 guests, and the Reading Room restaurant can be hired exclusively for an evening reception for up to 105 guests.
The hotel has 55 rooms and suites across the main building and the House, with a Bridal Suite included in the two upper packages, and an on-site spa. Couples get exclusive room tariffs for their guests.
