Simon Booth Photography

Simon Booth is a wedding and portrait photographer based in Hastings, covering weddings across East Sussex and Kent. His style is reportage: natural, relaxed, candid shots, with classically composed couple portraits and plenty of the guests, the details and the atmosphere as the day unfolds.

He takes at least 2,000 photos on the day and gives couples 500 to 600 individually edited images, delivered about three to four weeks later on an engraved walnut USB stick in a matching box, with a private online gallery to share with family and friends. He also designs wedding photobooks.

Simon meets couples before the wedding, at the venue, at home or on Zoom, and suggests a photography schedule. He meets again about a month before the day, ideally at the venue, to check the timings and find the best spots for portraits. He grew up in Hastings and studied film, video and photography before turning to weddings.
