Paul Read Photography

Paul Read is a wedding photographer based in Hastings, East Sussex, with around 20 years of experience since a first-class degree in photojournalism. His approach on the day is natural and unobtrusive, focused on storytelling, real moments and honest emotion, with quiet guidance where it is needed.

He was voted one of the best wedding photographers in the UK by Hitched in 2023 and 2025, and is a Guardian award winning photographer. Paul shoots weddings across Sussex, the rest of the UK and Europe, and meets couples before the day to talk through timings, the venue, key moments and the family and friend group shots they would like.

After the wedding, couples receive a full online gallery that they can share with friends and family, kept online for a minimum of two years, along with high-resolution images to download. Albums are an option, designed once couples have had time to enjoy their photographs.
