Amy trained in costume making at Rose Bruford, specialising in couture sewing, garment construction and corsetry, and has taught sewing for more than a decade. She has specialised in bridal sewing for the past eight years.

Bespoke gowns follow a process of private consultation, design, multiple fittings and hand finishing, with fabric and detail choices tailored to each bride. Alterations cover bust and bodice work, sleeves and straps, hems, custom bustles for the train, structural changes, and embellishment repair.
