Maudy Moon Couture

Maudy Moon Couture designs and makes boho, vintage-inspired and celestial wedding dresses by hand in England. Maud Norris, born in Paris, studied fashion design and pattern making and graduated in 2006. She designs, creates and makes every dress herself, from start to finish, mainly in British and French fabrics, with lace, celestial prints and flowers among her favourites.

Brides try dresses on at one-to-one appointments in Maud's garden studio in Minster, near Ramsgate, with appointments available all week. The studio dresses are samples that can be bought if the size is right. Brides who prefer a brand new dress can choose made to order in a standard size or made to measure, and bespoke changes to fabric, colour or shape can be requested.

Brides who live too far to visit can still have a dress made from their measurements, with guidance on how to take them. Bridal separates and veils are made by Maud as well.
