Bay Belle Brides

Bay Belle Brides is a bridal boutique in Old Colwyn, near Llandudno in North Wales, run by Sue, who opened it in April 2021. It operates from her home, with appointments only, so each bride and her party have the bridal room to themselves.

The boutique stocks over 200 wedding gowns, with off the peg dresses available to take home the same day and others that can be ordered in different sizes, some up to size 44. Gowns start at £295 and the site says over 40 are under £550. Sizes 6 to 40 can be tried on, including over 150 gowns in size 18 and above. Interest free payment plans are offered. Veils, tiaras, belts and other accessories are also sold, and alterations are listed on the site.

Sue accepts donated wedding dresses, with the profit from resales going to Happy Faces Children's Charity. The site says the boutique has won more than 15 awards for its service and sustainability, and lists it as a recommended bridal supplier for Highfield Hall in Mold and Plas Maenan in the Conwy Valley.
