Ian Ellis FGPT, Professional Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies

Ian Ellis FGPT is a professional toastmaster and master of ceremonies based in Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey. He is a Fellow of the Guild of Professional Toastmasters and works at weddings, civil partnerships, masonic ladies nights, and corporate and civic events across Surrey, London, the South East, Eastern England and the Midlands.

At weddings he attends a pre-meeting at the couple's home or venue, works with the venue, caterers and photographer, meets guests, arranges the receiving line, announces the couple into the wedding breakfast, handles the speeches and cake cutting announcements, assists with presentations and announces the first dance. He works with all-faith weddings, including Asian and Jewish weddings, as well as civil partnerships.

Ian has worked in the public sector for over forty years, with much of his career in training and development, and he is also an experienced DJ. His motto is 'With Gavel, Will Travel'.
