Matilda the Celebrant

Matilda Pearson is a celebrant based in Cambridgeshire who writes and leads personalised wedding ceremonies. She trained with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy and has a background in hospitality and events, including time working abroad before settling back in the UK.

A celebrant-led wedding can take place in any venue and include whatever traditions, readings, songs or family elements the couple want. Matilda starts with an initial consultation by phone, video call or in person, followed by a questionnaire, and the couple can review and amend the ceremony script before the day. A rehearsal is available if needed, and she is happy to dress to suit a wedding theme. Wedding ceremony packages start from £750.
