Pig and a Half

Pig and a Half is a family-run hog roast and BBQ catering company based in Swindon, Wiltshire. For weddings it offers four packages, from The Classic Celebration hog roast buffet to The Tailored Touch, a full-day option with welcome drinks, family-style serving, afternoon tea and evening food.

The hogs come from a farm near Cirencester and are slow roasted for around ten hours, served with sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce and crackling. The team also does BBQ and burger menus, canapés and sharing boards, desserts, and pizza or BBQ for the evening, and can provide cutlery, crockery, staff, a cash bar and licences.

Each package can be personalised, and the final menu is confirmed 14 days before the wedding. Pig and a Half has catered for events with as few as 15 and almost 600 guests, with fully insured, DBS-checked staff, and says it will travel across the South, to London, Birmingham and Wales.
