Coco Basil Catering

Coco Basil Catering is a bespoke event caterer based in Rochester, Kent, cooking for weddings, private parties and corporate events. Wedding menus range from canapés and bowl food to formal plated meals, sharing tables, food stations and barbecues, all built around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Sebastien Vaucelles, who trained in Michelin-starred kitchens in France before moving to England in 2002 and founded Coco Basil in 2019. Menus are designed with each couple, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free and Halal options handled under strict allergen controls.

The team can supply chefs, waiting staff, bartenders, crockery, glassware and mobile bar set-ups, and is used to cooking in marquees and venues without a commercial kitchen. Guest numbers run from 25 to 250 or more, across Kent, London, Essex, Surrey, Sussex and Herefordshire.
