Birch House Bakery

Birch House Bakery is an award-winning wedding cake studio in Balcombe, West Sussex, run by designer Erin, who has over ten years of experience. Erin makes contemporary, romantic cakes designed around each couple's style, from tiered buttercream and fondant cakes to single tier Italian style cakes and long table-runner cakes.

Every cake is made to order and taken through a clear process: check the date, secure it with a deposit, order a tasting box of six flavours to try at home, then a Zoom design consultation and a digital sketch. Erin delivers and sets up the cake at the venue, liaises with florists and planners, and can supply cake stands for hire. Vegan flavours and gluten free cakes are available, and macaron and truffle favours and dessert tables can sit alongside the cake.

The bakery cares about where its ingredients come from, using local suppliers, free range Sussex eggs, fair trade chocolate and recyclable packaging. Cakes are delivered across Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London.
