Amazing Cakes by Jean is a home-based cake maker in Elmswell, near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. Jean makes every cake herself, so couples deal with her from first enquiry through to delivery.

For weddings she makes both traditional and less traditional cakes. Her style is described as simple elegance, designed in soft icing rather than traditional royal or hard icing, which allows smooth, curved effects. Cakes are made in light sponge, lemon sponge, chocolate sponge or traditional fruit, and she can work in shapes such as round, square, heart, hexagon or petal. Fresh, silk or sugar flowers, coloured ribbon, glass gems and toppers can be added to match a bouquet or dress. A choice of stands and bride's knives is available.

Wedding cakes are delivered and set up at the reception venue on the day, with no separate charge for delivery. Jean does not publish a price list because each cake is unique, but the site says a simply decorated three tier wedding cake starts at £495 including delivery and set-up. She also exhibits at wedding fairs.
